Sales Account Manager

Key Objectives:

Based from our UK based headquarters, Navtech Radar wishes to recruit a Sales Account Manager to develop and generate sales of our world leading radar based incident detection system within the Highways sector.

Key Accountabilities

  • The Account Manager will be tasked with finding and developing new opportunities and the generation of new business in the Highways sector.
  • Working individually and as part of a team, to meet and exceed individual and / or team sales targets and goals
  • Customer follow up and retention; researching and developing new leads and existing clients
  • Constantly looking for ways to increase the ‘close rate’ by understanding the importance of properly quoting products and services
  • Responsibility for relationship and pipeline management of partner / SI channels

Key Responsibilities:

  • To control Purchase ledger supplier queries and payment chasing
  • To control the payment of suppliers
  • To set up new customers and suppliers on the system under instruction from the Finance Director
  • To maintain the highest levels of contact and customer service to all customers both external and internal
  • To communicate purchase queries and problems to the relevant budget holders
  • To ensure that all accounts, personal objectives and targets are met.

Project Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer has arisen in the Highways Project Delivery department. You will be part of a team of engineers managing and delivering Navtech Radar technology in Highways applications for Government Highways Authorities worldwide. This is a demanding and rewarding role requiring high standards of engineering, organisational and customer facing skills.

You will be joining at an exciting time, at the start of many major new projects and will have an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the company as well as further develop your career. Experience of radar is not necessary, as full product specific training will be provided.

The role will be based at our offices in Ardington, Oxfordshire but you should expect to spend approximately 25% of your time on site. The Navtech culture is informal with a friendly atmosphere, where everybody is dedicated to exceeding customer’s expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, implementing and reporting on the progress of Highways projects (including on site) to meet the project requirements. This includes production of project documentation and reports, planning, system commissioning, system optimisation, configuration, acceptance testing, and customer operations & maintenance training. This is normally performed alongside a systems integration company.
  • Monitoring systems performance, diagnosing problems and proposing/implementing rectification action.
  • Technical input to support the sales team during bid creation.
  • Coordinating problem resolution with engineering, software and customer support.
  • Assisting the Product Development Team with field testing of new products
  • Assisting the Sales Team In performing customer demonstrations and site surveys

Essential requirements:

  • Valid British Or EU Passport And Residency In UK
  • Valid Driver’s Licence And A Good Driving Record.

Key Objectives:

Due to recent rapid growth, Navtech Radar have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our award winning technology company. With market leading technological products and a global customer base, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our sales and marketing team to implement our marketing strategy and help grow international and domestic sales. The company develops and delivers unique, high tech products. Sales are typically high value, business to business and to a varied customer base. The company are also looking to launch cutting edge new technology products over the next couple of years .

The work will be challenging and fast paced. You will need to be a self-starter and consistently motivated to produce work of the highest quality. You must be confident interfacing to colleagues, customers, partners and suppliers in order to get things done and work diligently with limited support.

To fit well into the environment, you will be an energetic individual who is used to consistently delivering quality work under pressure. This is a demanding role in a small business and you have the ability to make a very large impact with plenty of scope for personal growth and development.

Key Accountabilities:

Plan and deliver all international and domestic activities within the company including:

  • Organising international and domestic events including materials, logistics and people
  • Management of marketing assets including literature, exhibition materials, photo library, digital materials etc.
  • Implementing our digital marketing strategy including managing social media accounts and press releases
  • Creating and proofreading copy for articles, newsletters and whitepapers
  • Measuring and monitoring the performance of our marketing activities
  • Support of PR activities
  • Basic management of the website, including creating and updating webpages
  • Support of internal communications, events and documents

Knowledge and Experience:

  • BA or equivalent in Business studies, marketing or relevant degree
  • 2 or more years’ experience in a business to business marketing including planning events and exhibitions, ideally in high technology or industrial markets
  • An understanding of how small companies operate and how to maximise use of resources within this type of environment
  • You will be expected to be extremely proficient with technology and computer literate as this is the platform the majority of your work will be based on.
  • Being familiar with various social media platforms is desirable and if you are able to demonstrate an understanding of Web development and creative design or creative writing skills, that would be a benefit
  • Media skills are also key to this role. You would need to have a natural ability for presenting information in a clear, concise, standard and striking way.
  • A knowledge of photography or an ability for digital media manipulation is favourable.
